The Greater Beloit Area Crime Stoppers is Supported in part by the above Sponsor Crimes of the Week - February 23, 2009 The Greater Beloit Area Crime Stoppers is looking for information to a rash of vandalism which occurred late Friday night, February 6th and the early hours of Saturday, February 7th. Unknown suspects smashed and broke over a half dozen car windows in the following areas, 2900 block of Chatsworth, 2700 block of Sara and the 2400 block of Heather. Anyone that has information regarding this crime or any other crime is to call the Beloit Crime Stoppers at 362-7463 or 36-CRIME. All callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1000.00 if information provided leads to an arrest. Crime Stoppers does not have CALLER ID. Tips can be left via the internet by logging onto gbacrimestoppers.com The Greater Beloit Area Crime Stoppers is looking for information to another rash of vandalism which was discovered on October 25th at the Oakwood Cemetery. Vandals once again damaged over forty five grave site markers and head stones. Some of the headstones were broken by the vandals. This is the 3rd time this cemetery has been targeted by vandals.
